Les sources divergent quant à l'orthographe de Hawkes / Hawke's / Hawke Bay. La dernière graphie est pratiquement omniprésente sur les cartes, mais les deux autres se partagent les faveurs des pages en ligne (et se côtoient fréquemment sur une même page). En accord avec la loi fondamentale de la physique, j'ai opté pour la version la plus courte.
